Are consultations free?
Email consultations are always free. Zoom/digital platform consultations are $50 for 30 minutes or $100 for one hour.
What’s included in a consultation?
An email consultation, which can be filled out on the Contact page, asks a few specific questions to better understand the scope of your project and I might best fit your needs. Your reply will include a project estimate or additional questions to reach that estimate, specific expertise/ideation on the project idea, and next steps for starting the project.
Is artwork solely my property once paid for?
The client is typically entitled to the designated reproduction rights when the project is completed and paid in full. Generally, full artwork property rights are not designated unless specially requested. Client (you) receive unlimited rights to use the artwork for their brand but will be restricted on usage for reselling on products or handing off to other entities. Designer (me) will always retain rights to use the artwork for the purpose of marketing my own business, presentation in a portfolio, etc.
How is my quote determined?
Your project estimate is determined by the number of design hours the designer must take to complete the project, any software or supplies required for the project deliverables, and the unique skill set and expertise of the designer.
What is the client’s involvement in the design process?
This part is up to you, the client. A few aspects of your project will be essential, like providing feedback and edits, approval, etc.
Can I add on to a project when we have already started one?
Yes, additional services can be added anytime for an additional fee.
Can I cancel the project before completion?
You may cancel the project at any time, but you’re still responsible for payment of all design services/hours up to date and any design deliverables must be returned to designer, prohibiting any use by client.
How do you take payments?
My preferred method is Venmo (@anastasiacaras), but I also accept Paypal or a check.
